Sarah Krings-Lien joined the Pistil + Stigma team in 2013. Having worked on multiple cannabis farms in California, she has both hands-on and theoretical knowledge in cannabis cultivation and manufacturing. Her expertise and creative drive led to the production of Greenlight Drafts’ core product suite for cannabis cultivators and cannabis-infused products manufacturers.
While Sarah Grittmann hails from Kansas City, she has established roots in Nevada where she worked to impact multiple nonprofit arenas, establishing programs, and ensuring public resources were easily accessible to everyone. Sarah has worked with the state mental health department, area school districts, as well as recreation groups. From museum education to youth programming, Sarah has worked on a wide variety of projects that have connected people to their various communities.
Ashley Snow’s background in both law office management and real estate makes her a perfect fit at Pistil + Stigma to assist in the research and development of new projects that depend on precise document control, referencing, and editing in order to drive results. She is a graduate of Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, where she studied music and began honing her research and writing skills.
Mitchell Colbert is a freelance journalist and formerly an editor of The Leaf Online. He has written over one hundred published articles for outlets including Cannabis Now, High Times, the Wine Industry Network, About.com, AlterNet, and Burn After Reading Magazine. As a journalist and cannabis researcher, Mitchell has written on the medical effects of nearly two-dozen cannabinoids and terpenes, the environmental issues around growing, the history of hemp, cannabis genetics, stocks, and much more.
Shay Digenan performs policy research, primarily at the state level, as a policy research assistant for Pistil + Stigma. While new to the area of government relations and the cannabis industry, she has previously worked as a legal office assistant at Copenhaver and McConnell Law, P.C. in Elko, Nevada and has a fervent interest in connecting people with the policies that affect them.
Auston Anderson is a junior at the University of Nevada, Reno majoring in journalism with an emphasis in strategic communication and minoring in political science. Mr. Anderson currently serves as a policy intern with Pistil and Stigma, where he assists with marketing and communications for the company.
Leslieann Hayden has 20 years’ experience in government- and community-based planning and development roles. Throughout her career she has worked in community relations, policy development and review, and funding management in both public and private sectors. She is also a Managing Member of A Little Off the Top Salon & Styling Co., Fernley, Nevada’s oldest barber shop.
Meiloni Erickson joined Pistil + Stigma in 2016 while she completed her Master of Fine Arts degree in New Orleans. Her creative communication and content strategy development experience has been instrumental in the success of many winning applications for competitive licenses. Originally hailing from California, Meiloni is a creative writer with multiple short story publications.
